Experienced Qualified Carpenter J Rive Construction is an established residential building company with a strong reputation for quality workmanship throughout Mid Canterbury. We’re looking for an experienced Qualified Carpenter to join our Ashburton team. We have a strong pipeline of work ahead, including quality new homes and substantial renovations and alterations. We’re looking for someone who: * Is a qualified, experienced carpenter with good residential experience * Takes pride in producing high-quality work * Can work independently, use initiative and think ahead * Communicates well with workmates, subcontractors and clients * Is reliable, organised and a good team player * Is comfortable across both new builds and renovations * Has substantial renovation experience — an advantage, but not essential What we offer * Competitive remuneration based on experience and capability * Full-time permanent position * Strong pipeline of local work * Variety of quality residential projects * Established team with good systems behind the jobs * Opportunity for further responsibility and progression into a Foreman role for the right person We’re equally happy to hear from an experienced carpenter who simply wants to be a great tradesman and enjoy building, or someone looking to progress into running their own jobs.
